Macintosh computer does not come with Anti-Virus as it has it's own security features that is built-in to computer. What you can do is do uninstall then re-install the Samsung Kies that you have downloaded for your Macintosh computer. Try also to restart the phone and computer then plug and re-plug the phone.
You can also use a different Macintosh computer and check if it detects the phone.
